Dr Juma Abdallah

Dr Juma is a leading Obstetrician and Gynaecologist who is highly qualified in solving infertility problems on the island. With his diversity of skills and special interests, he is always prepared for all types of challenges.

About Doctor

Dr Juma sees about 25 to 30 a day who suffer from Infertility which is a big challenge for the island. He professionally diagnoses couples, advises and educates them on Fertility. Extensive test investigations are carried out like sperm counts for males, ultrasounds and hormonal test testosterone test so that a hormonal profile can be made. For Women, Fallopian tube checks with the help of ultrasound scans and of the ovaries and uterus are done.

We also regulate Menstrual cycles and disorders. We diagnose masses in uterus, ovaries and fibroids also.

Unfortunately we get cases of miscarriages also and discourage D&C procedures (Dilation & Curettage). We recommend drugs instead for terminating the pregnancy.

Pregnancy complications are also handled professionally like Pre-emclampsia due to hypertension in pregnancy,

Dr Juma aims to achieve the goals of the patients, especially when it comes to infertility. He makes it his personal goal for mothers to give birth to health babies when they are under his care.

There are about 3-5 natural births a day and approximately 10-20 a week.

He says: “Whenever there is a complication I am there!” To deliver a healthy baby and place it in a mother’s hand is my utmost priority.

His passion is to get a woman who has struggled to become pregnant. He will do whatever it takes to make that happen.

Twice a baby has been named after me! Through C-section but both mother and baby were safe and healthy.
